So, I promised to recap how things have been going, but first I want to tell you how much I love the Fountains of Bellagio. From my room I can watch them every 15 minutes after dark. Some would say it's the best show in Vegas, and it's free! Seriously though, over $50 million was spent just on the fountains. There are thousands of water jets, and even more lights - all of it set to music.
The incredible attention to detail is nothing short of amazing. The choreography is stunning. The music chosen to get your heart beating loud enough that you can feel it. People literally line the streets. They literally stop everything they are doing. People passing by pause to take in the incredible orchestration of water, light and sound. The only word that really describes it is "wow!"
From where we had dinner tonight, we could see them go off out of the huge windows along Las Vegas Blvd. I'm not sure that they get old for me, even though I've probably seen them go off several dozen times since I've been here.
So here's my thing - how do we create wow experiences in whatever it is that we do? How do we get people's heart beating?
I had a great dinner at Ah Sin in Paris with many new Pictage Friends. It was wonderful for me to meet fellow photographers and hear what they're living. It was great to connect with people who understand that life that I live!
